The Rev. Stephen Sinclair is a minister, pastor, and chaplain. He holds a Master of Divinity degree granted by Meadville Lombard Theological School in Chicago and a graduate certificate in healthcare ethics from Rush University Medical Center, also in Chicago. He completed a residency in clinical pastoral education at the Cleveland Clinic and has ministered as a chaplain at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and Children’s Memorial Hospital, both in Chicago and Langone NYU Medical Center in New York. Pastor Stephen just finished serving as senior pastor at Holladay United Church of Christ in Salt Lake City, bringing to that ministry his deep knowledge of the world’s religions, his identity as a follower of Jesus, and his proven ability to grow a church by attracting the unchurched and those historically marginalized in Christian traditions. Prior to coming to Utah he served the Unitarian Universalist Church of Indianapolis, Second Unitarian Church of Omaha, and the Unitarian Universalist Church of Rockville, MD. Rev. Sinclair is currently a chaplain at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle and is on the ministerial staff at First African Methodist Episcopal Church.
